to Cope with the Diversity of Diversity Research on Group
Effectiveness: Some Outlines for Future Empirical Research, Theory
Building and Practical Applications This last chapter aims at integrating theoretical approaches and research results described in this volume. Moreover, application issues are discussed. First, a model for structuring a group’s diversity is presented. Then, research results described in this volume are summarized and an integrative model on the relation between diversity and group effectiveness is proposed. Finally, some recommendations for future research on diverse work groups and for the management of diverse work groups are given.
