Institutional psychotherapy - an "integrative" beginning

By division into the following four chapters (1. Historical development and essential elements of psychotherapy; 2. Institutional psychotherapy as an instrument of analysis and of psychotherapeutic planning in psycho-social institutions; 3. Institutional psychotherapy as a particular way of observing a subject; 4. Institutional psychotherapy as a beginning for treatment of psychoses) it is intended to vacilitate the reception of a many-sided and complex theme. By use of concretes examples and with the help of conceptional and structural considerations, the practical, as well as the theoretic relevance of essential elements of institutional psychotherapy for social and community psychiatric development in Germany is demonstrated.
